Key Results - Return on Investment Reports We have over 130 Return on Investment example reports from local businesses across a wide range of industries &professions that illustrate the significant benefit of quality training. We are anticipating a 20-25% reduction in time spent on the schools by the audit staff which in dollar terms considering last year's recovery rate of 40% on an increased fee base we are expecting $15,854.00 in increased recovery over the prior year. "I estimate the savings to the company to be in the order of $213,000 per annum. We have reduced staff numbers by three which will save 3x$65,000 per annum and we intend to carry out the same amount of work, and better utilisation of plant and reduced plant hire will save us $1,200 per month or $18,000 per annum. Thank you for the opportunity to come back as a Graduate Assistant. I found the course was a great "me time" and chance to re-charge the positive terminals on my batteries." "The project I chose for my ROI was to implement a system of reducing solvent use and to minimise can wastage in the aerosol department. When calculating the ROI, it became apparent that by decreasing the varieties of solvents available we have managed to save $216.60 weekly x 52 weeks =$11,263.32 yearly. By increasing the awareness of the costs involved in producing can wastage people have taken more care in their setups and have also come up with suggestions on how to keep decreasing wastage throughout other areas in the department too. We have now gone from producing 900 thousand cans to approx 250-300 thousand cans a year in wastage. This is a phenomenal saving!!!Please see the charts I have enclosed. Thanks heaps Damar for the opportunity to attend such a valuable course." "The Return on Investment in terms of patient throughput and referrer/patient satisfaction has been encouraging. Taking into account that we have moved from 2 scanners running 9 hrs a day each to one scanner running 12 hrs a day. I can report that comparing an average patient/per hr rate in the 3 months before we moved to one scanner, to this month, the patient per hr rate has actually increased by 30%! So we are maintaining throughput. MSK Imaging have a fantastic loyal staff, and we are all working hard during a stressful time, whilst maintaining our positivity, and should be proud of ourselves!! "We will not know the 'actual' improvement in employing this new system until next year. However, it is estimated the return will be approximately as follows: 375 jobs x 60% increase in questionnaire response rate = 225 jobs x $100 per job = $25,500 cost saving Plus an additional 225 hours per year of productive time freed up. In addition to the above this new process will ensure our annual jobs are easier to compete, received more timely by our clients and are therefore more efficient, which will result in improved bottom line profit! Thank you very much for the last 8 weeks. You have been an amazing trainer!" The overview of my ROI project was to improve the performance of our primary breakdown saw by upgrading the DC motor controller on our Log Carriage. to get this underway I approached our mill manager and Talked in terms of the other persons interests by presenting him with the benefits of the new controller. The new controller was installed on 21/11/09 and was changed over seamlessly, the operators have noticed the difference in control of the carriage which as the primary breakdown saw sets the pace and the amount of recovery from the logs. This will help to eliminate operator errors and also make the training of new operators a lot faster and easier." Paul Torwick Site Electrician Pukepine Sawmill 1998 Ltd "My ROI project was to attract more Mitsubishi light and heavy truck owners and operators to our Service Department for repair, service and maintenance work. As for the Mitsubishi owners the project has not really got off the ground at the moment. On a brighter note I have been able to use all the same principles and approach to a large customer we lost 2 years ago. After a lot of meetings, presentations, price fixing and perseverance, we have regained all of this customers major repair and COF work. In the first 3 weeks carrying out work for them we put approximately $9,400 through the workshop, with a further $10,000 for the month of November. Thanks Andrea, it has been a great experience coming back as a Graduate Assistant. I have really enjoyed my time with the group, and seeing them all develop." "My project was to improve the companies rubbish system at its Te Puke site and to reduce the cost of disposal by 40% through recycling and introducing a more efficient system. Estimated annual cost saving through new system $3,730. Thanks for the great course." Dave Pharo Coolstore Manager DMS |
